Update
Wow! I cannot believe we are at the end of the school year and I am writing the last class newsletter This has been a very busy and amazing year. I am so proud of the effort our class has put forth this year!
Although the year is winding down, it is important to remember to be at school every day and arrive on time. We are working hard up till the last day of school so make sure you are checking your student’s planner and make sure they are keeping up on turning in assignments. ALL missing assignments are due no later than THIS WEDNESDAY, May 16, 2012. Students received a list of missing assignments at the end of last week.
With the end of the school year, come many things. This week students are researching information about a president that they selected. On Friday, students will dress as their president and will be attending a “President Banquet”. At the banquet, we will be serving the finest selection of foods. The presidents will have the opportunity to talk about their lives with their fellow presidents. Please make sure your student is prepared for this event!
All textbooks, classroom library books that are checked out, slates, and classroom supplies, must be turned in no later than Monday, May 21st. If your student has lost one of the borrowed items, they will be responsible for paying for a replacement. In order for your student to receive all of the end of the year things (including report card), all items must be returned or paid for. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this.
